Diamond Beach Viewpoint
The view from the top on Diamond Beach is one directly from the postcards. A stunning white beach, silky blue water, limestones, and palm trees are creating a dream destination. Diamond Beach is without a doubt one of the things you must do on Bali.
You can walk up all the way up to a small building where you find a viewpoint overlooking the beach. The viewpoint is an easy 5-minute walk from the parking area.
Visiting the beach with the new stairs, carved out of the limestone, you can now get down to the beach in 20 minutes. On an East Nusa Penida tour, it is possible to visit this beach. The ocean on this side is very rough and can easily become dangerous. You can reach the beach by walking over and around the rocks.
Unfortunately, Diamond Beach is not made for swimming. Every wave contains a lot of coral and rocks which makes it quite painful. If you are fast enough and go in between the waves you can have a good cool down in the sea. Just be very careful with the current. It is a new, unknown spot and there is no help down here.
Destination Near Diamond Beach (Atuh Beach)
The charm of the island of Nusa Penida Bali is indeed endless. You can find various interesting natural tourist destinations there. One of them, Atuh Beach, a white sandy beach that has been visited by quite a lot of domestic and foreign tourists.
But if you visit Atuh Beach, don't forget to stop by the beach which is located not far from there called Diamond Beach.
Diamond Beach is within the same area as Atuh Beach. To visit these two beaches, you only need to pay Rp. 5,000 at the entrance to the area. As the name implies, Diamond Beach offers views of karst cliffs with a tapered shape resembling a gem.
To reach this white sandy beach, you have to go down a staircase made of stone which has been equipped with a safety fence.
However, unlike Atuh Beach which is equipped with colorful umbrellas as a place for tourists to relax, dozens of food stalls, and toilets, Diamond Beach is still very natural.
